Much to my surprise, satellite TV via my hacked Linux driver through mythtv backend on my cloud node over the ethernet network to xbmc running on a cheap Chinese Android TV stick now works! It's a bit flaky, especially on the HD channels, and the EPG pictured is far too small to read on a 24 inch other side of the room, but it does work, and well at that. I think Megan will be pleased. Not bad for all open source!
